This my first HDRI ! W00T

Sorry that it is soo grainy. It took so long to render, so no fine tuning was able to be done. But Blender OSX finally can export to an external render !!!!! And that means HDRI !!!!!

YaY!!!!!

note it is 463 kb heavy, as it is a png, so it would not look futher grainy as a jpg

oooh oooh ^o^ monkey oooh oooh

It was done with OSX Blender 2.28
Yafray + Exporter
And good ol Unix ! W00T !

And yes this is a final so there will be no more at this thread. Please do not lock it just cause it is cheesy.

I don't get it. It looks like a photoshop comp job or just a really shiny background.

* monkeys are cool though. :D

the point is he lit the image with no lights, just an HDRI image. i guess this was previously unheard of with Blender on OSX.

The grain definitly needs fixing. I would suggest compressing your image more as well, over dial-up that took quite some time to download.

Keep it up!
