Hi all,

I'm using Maya to develop a Motion Planning Plugin as part of a research, but we've found the following issue:

Even thou collision detection is pretty accurate, the contact data from the rigid bodies is 0 if they are interpenetrating.

Because the way the Motion Planner works, I need to detect interpenetrations, which might happen without a previous collision.

Is there a way Maya API can detect those interpenetrations and yield it as useful data??
