This is a compilation of the VFX which I was involved in for the shortmovie Babylon.
Everything is done in Maya.Compositing in Fusion.
I know there is always room for improvement, but as usual we ran out of time.

Synopsis:


E90-1248 is working as a sorter of building material in one of two towers which are facing each other in an endless expansion of water. His life is dedicated to the growth of the tower, because the water level is rising.

When an accident happens, he finds himself in the bottom storey of the building, a place where all those people are shunted off, who the upper storeys of the tower can no longer accommodate. E90-1248 becomes aware of the fact that the tower is well on its way to destroy itself and that he is the only person able to save the human race from perishing.

hi nicely done.. i thought the sea could have been just a little more violent as you were kind of potraying the dark days and also the clouds could have got little more volume in them in last but one shot where you show the tower through birds view...but hey its just me... but loved the last shot where the cam is panning out and showing the horizon.. all those chunks of clouds looked really good.. all the best... cheers.
