View Full Version : Lightwave seminar in Houston?
PolyMangler 08-01-2003, 09:54 PM just wondering if anyone else was planning on going to the Lightwave seminar in houston next week?
I just got a call from Lee and he says i'm the only person that has actually paid for the seminar, several have signed up, but not paid. I was upset at this cause i was looking forward to meeting fellow wavers and such but now it's like it could possibly be just me.
is anyone on here planning on going?
if not i can look forward to a very personalized 2 day seminar :D
cheers

Can you give a link to the info for it. I am way to busy to attend - makin money with Lightwave and Photoshop, but hey maybe I can show for half a day. Hope about lets get the Houston user group up and running. There may already be one but if so I have not heard or seen them in a long time.
Maybe that it's a little close to siggraph to pull folks to it this week.

I think there is a Houston Lightwave group established...i know there's a 3d group there. Sadly you are right i'm in LR, so i couldnt' really help you set one up, although if i were there i'd be glad to. I can scarsly find one person in LR that uses 3d for something other then flying letters
Drop me a line if ya decide to go, we can go for drinks or something afterward

Crap you guys are going to be maybe four miles from my house!!!, but I am sooo booked at work and with freelance work that it would cost me way too much to attend for two days. We will have to get dinner at The Texas road house just on the other side of Hwy 290 it will be on me.
I have attended one of these two day events and it was well worth my time and money I will have to free up sometime maybe a half day. Any discounts for half days?
