our lighting/rendering td uses mip_matteshadow to render reflection passes with alpha,

I am trying to render fluids in our scene but the reflection of the fluid is only visible where there is geometry, so I end up with a reflection that looks like its a cut out of the geometry.

Is it possible to render fluid reflections with mip_matteshadow, or do I have to use something else?

I guess to follow up, my next question would be how does everyone else handle rendering fluid reflections for comp
