hi there,

a great texturing tool came out at siggraph. with the direct MAYA 5 Xchange it's one click to paint on your objects!

look at this movie:

bodypaint2 has a great featureset, supports projection painting for disortion free painting and the raybrush technology allows to paint in raytraced images!

btw: SONY PICTURES IMAGEWORKS will use BODYPAINT2 for all their future projects in combination with MAYA ...

indeed it is ... their is a save limitated full working demoversion on the website ... try it out ...

Damn straight,BP2 kicks rear bits!
Been playing with the demo since it came out now,and it's just too cool :)
Especially liked the fact that you can use the mouse buttons for camera movements now,
and that we can finally reverse the camera orbit so it works like maya...
Great new addition as I was never crazy about C4D/BP's 123 for pan rotate and track shortcut keys.
One question for you tho tilo...If I get the BP2 module some time in the future,
will that also integrate with Maya,max et al if I ever need it too?

yes ... the Xchange plugins works with the standalone BP2 version and also with BP2 module integrated into C4D.

btw: BODYPAINT2 is running on MAC and WIN with MAYA 5!!!

I work with cinema4d and bodypaint is the best tool that i ever seen
