View Full Version : Bending a corner
I need to bend only the front of the bottom right corner of the object below but there's no way I can adjust the geometry that way. I tried messing around with a couple of diffrent deformers without succes.
Anybody got an idea how to do it...?
I need to bend along the same angle as those Booleans.

Can you post an image of the mesh?

if the mesh is a hypernurbs cage make two close cuts along the angle of your booles, delete the excess polygons and stitch up the hole with the bridge too.
I'll try, I'm afraid that'll leave me with some nasty tri's though...
Here's the mesh, sorry for the stamp size... (strange that a rendered image has got a smaller file size than an editor view)

That doesn't help a great deal! - its a thumbnail! ;)
Switch to wire frame mode and post it bigger!
Can you not just add some points and move them all inwards along that corner? - without knowing what the original item looks like, its hard to see what exactly you're after.

Sorry missed your bit about the stamp sized image! - just up your render settings to a bigger res, or do a screen grab of the editor window.
I cel rendered the image, makes me wonder...
Why are pictures of the same resolution not equally sized, it's just a bunch of dots with diffrent color values right?
Weird stuff...

that's the point ;) the more information is in the picture, the bigger the picture-size gets.
your rendered image has lots of grey from the gameboy and lots of black from the background.
the screegrab has also the background-color, the mesh-color, etc. etc.
again, the wire-frame-render has again lots of areas with the same color
about your problem: as mentioned about, cut along the edges of the gameboy. it should work just fine
