Since I first saw the theme I had this image in my head about a detective and his partner. The thing about his partner is that she's a street-kid refugee from another planet. When she's forced to watch him die, she takes it upon her self to finish her partner's work and uncover the corruption within organization who've taken the only thing worth anything to her.

after adding perspective some of the shadows need adjusting but its coming along nice, I might even finish in time.

finishing up background details, still need to refine a few things with the girl but its almost there. final coming up.

Many street kids find their way into the city, hoping to get some food or credits to survive. Jamie one of the fortunate kids, was a refugee from delta 14. She was orphaned when Corenet corp. agents murdered most of her kind by mining her planet hollow. She was adopted by an undercover private investigator named Gordon, who was at the time stationed on her planet. 1 year before he met Jamie he was hired by the earth defense administration to investigate illegal intergalactic resource gathering on near by planets. While on planet Delta 3482, preasant day, his undercover investigation with one of Corenet?s top clients uncovered a paper trail connecting Corenet and their dealings with pirates, linking the illegal mining operation to Corenet Corp. This breach of security did not go over with the Corenet administration, who hired assassins to ?deal? with their information leak.

Back at his hotel room on the moon base at Delta 3482, Gordon was packing in preparation to leave for earth. He was gathering Jamie?s belongings when suddenly a shadowy figure opened the door, Jamie instinctively hid in the corner behind a cabinet, in that split second a single radiated 9mm round pierced Gordon?s neck. Jamie could do nothing but watch as another loved one fell by the hands of her sworn enemy. She could only make out faint wrinkles of the assassins face and a malicious twinkle in his cold eyes as he vanished.

authentic: yea i came in a bit late, but i had some time to work on this challenge. thanks for dropping by.

Randis & MikeTheHunter: yea once i look back at it normal Rockwell did that with a Plymouthadd at one point, and i think i did something similar without realizing it. thanks again for your comments.
