The walking/talking animation looks spot on to me, I just wish I could understand him... :blush: (my French streches to 'le singe est dans le potage'). The wieght test looks just a bit odd though... I think it's when he turns his head to look at the rock, it looks a little 'stiff'...?

His design is great too - reminds me of somthing Aardman would do, but better. :D

Yeah the voice looks like a lot to the "french Eddie murphy".
For your first character and animation under maya i can just congratulate you. The character is very cartoonish and the animation fit perfectly with him.

I keep an eye on this thread.

The white background makes it easier to see the animation for critiques... :D
I like it but for the angry walk cycle you could offset the hands a bit right now both arms swing exactly at the same time and they are always at the same distance from each other. But i like that you animated him getting into the walk...

you're right...
the angry one is not so good...I did at least 6 versions of it(always different on the arms), but I don't get it...that's why I've add the beginning...
j'ai essayé plein de combinaisons...en decalant les bras aussi mais ptetre pas sur le bon timing...en rajoutant de l'overlap...y'a un truc que je dois pas bien capter :(
le fait aussi qu'on comprenne pas qu'il a les poings fermés (forcement)...

je ferais une nouvelle tentative....
