View Full Version : XSI 6 Foundation Licensing

Hello,

Does anyone know if the way you have to activate XSI Foundation has changed since softimage was taken over by Autodesk? I've recently installed my copy on my new pc and whenever I try to activate the license I keep getting a 'cannot connect to remote server error'.

I may need to contact autodesk but I can't even find any kind of support pages for XSI Foundation so if there's anybody out there who's had a similair problem and can offer some advice it would be greatly appreciated.

AFAIK Foundation 6 is still supported, so it should be easy to obtain a new license...

I did what you suggested and they responded very quickly and were very helpful.

WilBellJr,

They asked me to send in a request code which you can generate in the license manager. After sending the request code to softimage support they return a key file which you install using the license manager so it was all pretty straightforward. Are you asking because you're having a similair problem?
