Hi! This is my first digital painting, and it's an illustration for the cover of Moby Dick. I used Photoshop7 and my mouse (I don't have a tablet yet :(). A reference was used for the whale, while the water is done from scratch.
This was originally a school project.

nice! can you throw on the title and author and publisher stuff on the cover? i would love to see what it would looklike. if i were to buy moby dick, i'd want this one!
