Hi Simny, As I understand your task, It can be done only using OpenReality SDK as external special 3d view. If it's important for you, you can write to me - Neill dot Solow at gmail dot com

Sorry to hijack this thread, but would it be possible to make something similar to this, designed for realtime preview?

Let me explain. We recently setup a stereoscopic projection system, which takes the left+right view as a wide panorama and sends half to each projector. We have been able to script all our other realtime apps quite well for this purpose, but MotionBuilder is our nemesis.

The perfect solution would be a control panel in the main interface of MB, and a 'fullscreen' viewport containing 2 camera panels side-by-side on a second monitor, i.e offset from the main display by whatever the resolution is (1920 wide most of the time).

Doing this with the standard viewport (split view, 2 panes) will sort of give you the desired effect, but does not maximize properly, since you can still see the toolbars etc.

Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers, and sorry again for the hijacking!

Daniel
