Dear CGTalk,
I have some bittersweet news...

I had plans to go to SIGGRAPH again this year but wound up getting a job in the medical field:surprised, and now cant get off for SIGGRAPH. I found out on monday, which was the date to refund, and so I'm trying to re-coop some money invested since I can't go. :argh::banghead: The semi-sweet part, however, is that SIGGRAPH Registration allows the transfer of credentials, so I'm selling it cheap.

I have 1 STUDENT Full Conference Pass to SIGGRAPH 2009 August 3-7, New Orleans, Louisiana available for sale via paypal. For more information, contact me at: neurotonz@gmail.com.

Serious Inquiries only please.

I went ahead and posted a "tweet" about it on Twitter, so hopefully someone decides to make their way to this post. I hope that helps. Good luck!

WOOOHOOOO! A big thanks to you Antonio! I know you took letting go of this at a steep discount, but I want to publicly thank you for your generosity.

My nephew was able to go at the last minute and I was going to get him a basic pass, but thanks to the generosity of our fellow CGTalker, he's going to get the full experience and maybe open his eyes to what's really possible here in the CG world. Having tooled around with some 2d animation and a little bit of photoshop, I can't wait to show him what our world really encompasses. It's perfect timing too as he's going back and forth on what to study in college.

And if you manage to make it next year... I'm buying you a beer!

Ticket has been sold.

David, I'm glad that the ticket will be put to good use. I hope your nephew walks away from SIGGRAPH with a better understanding about the industry.

Good luck.
