Hello, this is an animation I'm working on. It's a pirate character I made, delivering a beatdown with his canon. The idea is that he holds this canon over his shoulder and shoots it for a ranged attack, but if somebody gets to close he uses it as a melee weapon also.

So far I am working on getting my blocking set up in stepped mode. I'm really trying to get good arcs for the canon.

Any critiques would be very much appreciated.

Nice job so far. Good timing and anticipation on each attack.

One major issue I noticed is his balance on his first swing. His right foot should land a little more towards the inside of his body. Right now he seems a little off balance and that he should be tipping over after that first swing.

Well, I finished the blocking phase, this update is all in linear mode. I still have some issues to work out with the timing and the arcs, but it's getting closer. I also moved the right foot in after the first swing.
