Hi, im using 4.04 the edition given away in 3dworld. In an otherwise amazing package of so much power, i find the undo feature welll to be frank disapointing.

Im never entirely sure what will be 'undone' when i whack u, sometimes i do something wrong hit undo and either nothing happens or it undoes something i did at a previous step.

Maybe ive missed something pretty basic, but it just seems a bit unpredictable to me.

I agree and have complained to them about it before. That's one thing I forgot to ask them about at sig. It seems that some things are undoable, but others aren't, but they don't grey out the undo menu so you have no idea. Maybe it's fixed in MB5...

yes I agree, I like my undo's to undo evrything Ive done, aside from viewport panning etc.

one other really really big peeve I have is that near as I can tell (unless I missed an option somewhere) there are no (pop up)tool tips, its alot easyer to move threw the ui as a new user if you dont hafto actually go hunt down a picture or a help chapter to see what a button does, it even makes the hunt a bit harder, how can I look up the funtion of a given button if I cant hover the mouse over it and be told what the title of the button is......instead you hafto find the help chapter that pertains to the window that the button is located in.

Ive only been using MB for 3 days now so maybe I may have momething in the options to enable this, but I can say that in the 3 days I been using it I would have moved threw the ui faster with a little less time spent searching for specific information.

your typical right click menu would be good as well, especially in places like the "asset browser"
