shuper!!!
this is the best "Gally" I've ever saw!!!
really awesome work!
just a detail: the reflection in her hair is a little bit too large...looks like if she had gray hair...
anyway I love it!

Wow. That's better than I can do. ButI think her butt is a little wacked. Look at the crack, It's straight up and down. Maybe it's justthe angle. Also, the right cheek is lumpy. Check out some playboy mags for pictures of nice butt shapes :).

I really like it, but the hair looks too solid

Starqueen: All I was saying is that her butt on the right side looks like it could use some work. It seems too low and has an odd lump in it about mid way down. Might be the angle I guess. I really like the clothes.

Very nice job with bringing this to 3D... did you model the machine legs and arms and just cover them or did you put the clothes there because you didn't model the rest? Either way, it looks great.

:wavey: i know... hehe, you have a right to your opinion and so do i. :p
i think her butt is realistic, especially since she was created by an older gentleman in the storyline, i think it fits her better. :)

Effectively, my head polygons construction is very near from the famous Joan of arc tutorial... but I didn't use it for modeling Gally.
I was using opacity maps rather than hair because of brazil rendering not totally compatible with shag. By the way Dynamics is controlled by springs with bones limits. I hope soon we have a shave and a haircut version for max (thanks to think about us Splutterfish...) Iam working right now in a new picture of Gally in street environement. For those who ask my Online portfolio is here (http://perso.wanadoo.fr/oswald.piras/)

Very nice Kaneda! I recognised her right away. I'm a big fan of battle angel alita, so any kind of fanart ranks high on my wishlist :)

:D Looks great!! I like the folds in the fabric.,., nice work.,.,
she definitly shows a lot of character just at a glance.,.,
the only crit is the way the neck twists in the first shot., if she is created she could probably spin her head around 360* but i think the shoulder may follow the chin or the left shoulder should lift some if she looked that far to the left.,.,
but great style!! keep it up

Very nice Gally, I don't even mind the hair reflections too much.
I looked at your gmk animation. It's cute could use a bit of tweaking to make it smoother so I want to see what you do with gally!

I must approve that for last render I was working little less... but the picture render you see took me exactely 14 hours 51 minutes and 20 seconds...then as eveybody understand rendering tests was so long that at last I was tired to setup lights exposures and textures... If Only I had a better computer maybe I could add some corrections:D :D :D :D ... but for the moment Iam little tired with it... I will try later !!!
What you mean by tweaking mehdianim ??

Very nice!
-- and as everyone else, I have my own personal version of what's right and wrong! :)
First, I love the hair... it looks realistic, but in a Barbie-ish way, which I think fits the character perfectly.
Now, I think a lot of the folds in her leather pants look to "bump mapped", and not sharp enough to be real leather folds, modelled in the mesh. Now, this may be due to a choice of style, and it may be due to an aimed polycount, I dunno, but I just thought I'd mention it.
Great work! She's hot!
Oooh, and the butt's perfect too!
Cheers,
- Jonas
