I'm currently working on a car animation that includes two cars driving over ice plates. everything was set and seemed fine, nor errors or disturbing warnings in Maya but when I try to render the animation the batchrenderer crashes with several Memory exceptions.
All cars are on seperate layers, the iceplates (the only objects needing raytracing in this animation are on an own layer as well).
I have not yet managed to get it to work properly, even replacing the cars with new models(assuming that geometry data messed up) has not worked.
The scene has about 3 million Polygons but this was not an issue till now.
I'm working on a Dell 2,6 GHz and 2 GB RAM so I doubt it is anything performance related.
Anyone any pointers how to narrow down this problem? Some poor soul with similar experiences? I'm getting a bit desperate here.:surprised
