Here is the first concept art I made for our entry. We intend to create an atmosphere in the 60's 70's but with advanced technology.

With the team we decided that this is the style we will be going after. We were also able to choose the art direction while preserving the wills of the team members.

Thank you for your kind words. Since we are short on time we decided to start modeling the elements we're sure to include in our footage until the completion of the storyboard.

Here is the office of our vilain. Storyboard will follow.

Here is a locomotive we made for our biggest scene. You will understand upon reading the storyboard.

It was designed and modeled by Weihalter.
The office above was designed and modeled by Troglogeek and as for me I am modeling a trainstation I'll post tomorow with the storyboard.

Nice train, I am not sure where it will go but it looks good. Texture is nnot that amazing but we will see how it works in the shot. could be just fine.

Quentin Ricard has finished creating assets for the scene involving our vilain. It is fully textured but perhaps we will make some changes so we only upload the lit version.

We are late on our schedule.

Here is the main story :

The heroine has infiltrated the core of the enemy country and the villain thinks she's as wicked as he is :). But she's on a secret mission to find out what our evil mind is up to and of course to make his plans fail. Unfortunately her mask fails her when she tries to steal the forbidden data! Now she has to escape for her life and for the sake of her mission.

Here is a description and status of the scenes we'd like to see (They aren't in the chronological order and will probably be cut differently during composition):

Scene one : 0%
The heroine is in her hotel room when 2 elite officers break in and find nothing but an window opened on a back alley. In that back alley they will be Taxi escaping before the eyes of the officers.

Scene two : 50%
She is seen in a train station trying to hide in the crowd before entering the train that should take her to her homeland.

Scene Tree : 60%
As she's escaping the bad guy launches is wicked weapon on the train that starts disintegrating ( This is the biggest scene since it involves lots of visual effects).

Scene Four : 20%
She's in a facility with supercomputers and she tries to steal the forbidden data.

We have some other in mind but for the moment we'll try to finish these.

I like the chair that is behind the desk. I was always wondering how to quickly create that type of leather furniture.
How did you model that? (is it modeled in 3ds max?)

Troglogeek

Hi pierzak, it was modeled in Maya, but every tools I used to make it are also in 3ds max and certainly in the other 3d softwares, it's very basic, just edge loop, extrude and moving the vertex around.

And for answering your question about how I did it, here is a quick video to show you the process. I always try, when I model something like this to make the border of the shape to be a square, so it's really easy to ducplicate it and weld the part together.

Here is the link to the video (http://www.sculpteurdepixels.com/secret-agent/making_of_chair.avi) (approximately 47 Mo)

Enjoy ;)

Quentin.
