I use maya renders rather often, so I think we need more information here. What format are your rendering to. Can you provide an example file?

I run into this issue with openEXR-files. no mather if i use separate files by the use of tokens or multichannel EXRs. when using multichannel files i have to reorder each channel - always bgra to rgba.
tomorrow i'm going to do some more tests and will provide you a samplescene.
thx

photoshop also doesn't support this feature. therefore I'm going to buy fnord proexr - a great plugin . . . by the way
