CGTalk - Coogan Painting

Finally getting the hang of this digital painting thing. I've been doing a lot of portraits thus far but no one seems to want to lend me a crit...but anyway I'm still posting and hoping for one!

This is a portrait of my friend, she commissioned me to do this for her. Please let me know what you think , where I can improve on, what looks good/bad etc. etc.

Hah! looks really good :D

Cant really think of anything to improve... maybe tone down the light on her neck a little bit? (assuming it is her neck and not an arm going up there :P) But that is just nitpickery.

yeah its her neck, didnt even notice that it could be mistaken for that until you mentioned it. Thanks, ill darken it up a little bit. Any other suggestions?

Hm, having looked at it for a bit that bright spot on top of her head perhaps could be darkened a bit too? Could with some unfocused and really good will look a little bit like a bold spot lol. But its no big deal imo.

Other than that I think the whole composition is good.
