swag: Be sure to download and install both of the files from the download page. One is the plugin and the other is the MR shader. I have it working in both Maya Software and MR, (thought i noobed up the install lots of times i got there in the end - make sure you transfer the actual files rather than the directories, and don't make any typos in the file edits!!!) It comes with a demo teapot scene in the "extras" folder.

Very impressively fast.
faster than any SSS plugin available at the moment.
for instance, tranvol for example is alot slower than this at the same resolution.
as for the result. It looks impressive too as it doesn't takes up alot of render time.
what is the pricing for this plugin?

Tuna,
could you please explain how to apply the MRsubsurf node material to an object? I tried linking it to a shading group but doesn't work.

The maya software render version renders fine, MR gives an error though.

any update on the availability of the SSS plugin from Lightengine3D?

the demo is cool and all .. but the small "Demo Resolution" doesnt do it for me

Thanks all

Just use the shader pack and render away at any resolution you want.

Ah my appologies for making that assumption. Mark updates the plugin fairly frequently just keep checking back to his site that's about all I can offer. Take care.
