View Full Version : Question about window display resolution

Hi All,

I seem to recall that at some stage before 8 came out hearing there was an option for a higher resolution of texture map display in Animator. I ask because I'm working on a project that requires critical lineup of geometry to texture maps on a plane and it is still looking fuzzy to me so I figured I'd ask if there is a switch that needs to be thrown.

I've placed a link in this post to a screen grab of what I'm seeing in Animator and a render sample . You will see that texture edges are indistinct in the screen grab. If I can get a clearer image in Animator it will save me hours of time making fine adjustments since I have to place over 100 shapes to match the texture.

To clarify: in EI 8 the texture resolution in the Texture placement window is 1024 x 1024. The texture resolution in the World windows is 256x256.

Thanks Ian,

That explains it. Guess I'm just going to be groping around in the dark then with this. An option to selectively improve world window resolution might be a nice idea for future upgrades.
