Im working i 3dmax for 2years,but i never tried to model characters.About two months ago my friend Tes started to learn me how to model characters and revealed me this part of modeling. He learned me many things and i thank for it to him. This head is a "finish" piece of my learning with him.Thatīs all.Iīm working for a year in a game developing studio as a modeller.
I started to model his space marine armor so first renders will be in few next days if everithing will go all right:))i wish that the armor will look as good as the head.
my english isnībest- i wish that you understand to everithing what i wrote here :)

Good work!
Try to reposition the ears. They also need some change in their form.

Hey mistle
Great Head!
Nice usage of fewer polys.
2 questions/crits.
Are you going to animate the head? If so, you might want to tweak the direction some of the lines are flowing. Just to wrap the edges more in a fashion that they will be animated. Might save you some hassle later on.
I feel like you could use a few more poly rows around the mouth and the nose to help out with the creases and wrinkles you have created... they seem a little rounded right now, like you are using a few polys beyond their limit. But, of course, if you are animating the head then they will be more points you have to manipulate later on.
Good job!
hi...i donīt like to animate this character ...it will be static scene...
very nice work!!
just 2 crutiques. try to detail up the ear and reposition it. the crossover from the head to the ear doesen't looks natural.
take a bit more time to create your bump and color maps and detail them up! i'm in the same situation like you before you made this model ...... i don't have the courage to model a character :-(
keep going!

the ears have to be placed more up.... :)
check the eye line....
good work
cut
the ears wouldnīt be seen-will be under a helmet.i used photos-front and side view for modeling so the position of ears is ok...i will modify them more.
what about to show us some armor prew?
Soon TES...soon

I would recommend having more attatching area of the ears to the head. They just aren't anatomically correct. Look at anyones ears or your own (in a mirror) and notice how they are connected over a larger area.
Excellent Job. Simply increddible.

One more thing about the ears.
From the pictures you've provided, we can see that the ears arent identacle. The thickness at the top is too inconsistant.
Keep up the good work!!!
hey guys...tnx for your replys! as i wrote before-THE EARS WOULDNīT be SEEN!! he will have some mask or a complex helmet.

i remember getting my first head made, it was a bit messy. that looks good altho, i think that you could definately get some more detail in the textures.
