I posted this before and got no response. Could someone please help me? :D

I have no idea if this is a stupid question or not, but I didn't see it anywhere else...

I am fairly new to maya. today I was working on a scene that was relatively simple. I had some planes with twist deformers on them.

I was using the twists for a subtle background effect, so I didn't notice exactly when, but all the twist deformers disappeared. There is no trace of them. The planes are all still there, but the twists are gone. I'm pretty sure that they're not just hidden or something, 'cause the animation on the planes is gone, too.

I didn't delete anything connected to them (that I know of). This has happened to me before with a couple other things, too. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks a bunch

I dont remember who to do it.
but I thik this is the way:

Did you parent the twisters to the plane?

Or meaby you need to group the plane with the deformers after you aply the deformers on the plane.

try to do this things

Have you deleted the construction history ? Doing this would also delete the deformers and the animation on them

if you already put on the deformers on the surface and you did: delete by type: history
you will lose all the things

you must delete before of all deformer and all animation.
