j0rdan 07-20-2009, 04:23 PM Hello guys,
I would like to ask you which schools are good for 3d animation courses, I found Gnomon School in LA about which I read very good comments in CGtalk and also I checked the programs which I think are excellent. Can you suggest any similar programs.

you can even check out for france based...goblins studios.
depending on..if you are interested in CG or VFX...
I currently go to the Academy of Art University and they have a really good program, though they are really expensive. Its not a trade school like gnomon, so to get your degree in animation, you do have to take a bunch of drawing courses and some math and all those fun things, but I think that having that foundation (in the drawing at least) helps a lot in the long run.
I have been looking at animation mentor a lot lately, too, and they seem to be pretty awesome. 18 months instead of 4 years doesn't sound to bad.
