I desperately need to hone my colour painting skills so I'm doing this thing for practice. It's a pretty boring piece so far but I'm only doing it for the technical exercise.

I could use some input on it. I think it's pretty flat all over but not quite sure how to carry on with it. Also the mountains and the sunlit clouds don't seem to merge into a unified picture the way I want them to. Some tips from the painting gurus would be greatly appreciated.

pretty cool......uhmm...what sticks out to me is the strokes on the far mountain are the same width as the strokes on the near mountains so theres not much seperation from foreground and background.....
keep it up though...practice practice practice:)
