Hello.
I know Wire frame rendering has been asked many times before. but I haven't
seen a topic asking about rendering wire frame as a Smooth proxy of the model.
What I mean is having the wires bend in the same manner they are represented when
hitting '3' While modeling.

I am asking since I would love to show the original topology and not the smoothed version
and showing it as a non-smoothed wire frame doesn't fit correctly with the smoothed model.

Thank you very much.

umm you can render it wiht countor render and place a mr approximation for smooth atrender time

Hey thanks for the help.
I gave that a shot but all I got is an outline of the model when I tried
to add a smooth approximation.

What I am looking for is to have curvy edges as you see in the viewport
in the final wire rendering. is there any option to render this?

well, one way (cheap) of doing it

make UV snapshot and make them as balck and white lines
apply that as a texture file

a better answer

same as the countor render
but activate UV contor and give it a vlaue of 10 and 10 for example

 Nice find , Ashman !.

To ad to that , just set the UV numbers to the width and height Subdivision number of your base mesh , eg: say a cylinder has 12 sides then put 12 in the uv number . Same goes for height etc )
