I'm not to sure about the globes in the new version.
I liked it without them.
The original had a feeling of the calm before a storm.

Maybe if you gave them a little more form they might work with the rest of the picture, but I would move the one on the left.
It is hiding the chair which was a strong focal point before.

yeah, not so sure about the globes either.
i saw the last version a while ago and liked it very much.
right now with those weird globes, the image doesn't seem to make much sense to me.

The globes... actually more appropriately, orbs. They are from a reoccurring dream that I haven't had in years. The dreams just stopped. I never really understood what they were about. But, they always left me with a wonderful sense of peace and well-being... so, periodically I try to resurrect them in my artwork, which I will continue doing. One day they'll enter my dreams again... perhaps.

i don't like them. they kinda look like someone who's just got photoshop added some cheesy circles into a really nice-looking picture. totally bleah :thumbsdow

hey --! that's not very nice... just cause i'm a spectator doesn't mean my opinions aren't valid. i just really don't like the globes. the reast of the pic looks totally realistic and the globes look too cartoony. they just don't blend in well enough.
