View Full Version : Flickering ploblem in rendering -Vray

I don't know exactly if it really is a matter of V-ray or I'm doing something real silly which is giving me this flickering rendering result.. Hope you guys could help me out...

u must increase the settings of Irradiance Map. Try using Medium or High Animation presets

we switched to using:
Primary bounce:Brute Force and secondary Bounce:light catch Use adaptive dmc for anti aliasing.

It works pretty well for most situations, and this way you don't have to deal with iradiance maps

I don't know haw many lights are in your scene but you probably have to ad a few inside you stair case so there is more sampling

Thanxx dementol and HeadSmell for your replies... I tried changing settings with irradiance map..but that didn't helped.. also when I switched to brute force and light cache there was no change but when I did adaptive dmc..it gave me this result http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/5226/2ndshot0101.jpg

how is the stair well being lit? do have have glossy reelections on the material?

If it's just the camera moving, you can create a single irradiance map and render the final using the "from file setting, as described here:

this problem did stopped somehow...but now its coming again... I m not sure where the problem lies.. even i increase the quality but here's the settings of v-ray"
