CGTalk - illustrator CS PENCIL keeps starting new line

View Full Version : illustrator CS PENCIL keeps starting new line

I`m using illy cs, when I draw a shape with the pencil tool and keep adding to it, sometimes the original line disappears and a new line starts, how can I prevent this, ? its maddening.

sorry but no illustrator forum on here why not?

I think that is a result of crossing the original line - try picking up a short distance away from the end.

Double click on the Pencil Tool and uncheck Keep Selected or lower the Within -x- pixels slider.
