Good afternoon all!

Anyway, wanted to share my first test involving motion tracking. I shot some footage of my desk and decided to see how well I could comp in some simple objects, in this case a ball and a piece of staging.

I will likely be working on a more complex shot next week, hopefully with some new footage.

Looking forward to any comments and criticisms people have!

Hey James!,
That looks sweet !! I think the tracking is well done! Is that done in Maya or some other software? let me know!
Cheers,
Ari

Ari,

Thank you for the comments!

The tracking was done with SynthEyes 2007 and modeling/rendering/most of the composite work was done with Softimage 7.5. Some final tweaks were done with After Effects.

I highly recommend SynthEyes if you need tracking software, it's affordable for individual artists and at the same time professionally used in production houses. A rare thing these days!

Cheers!
