After the creation of an IKspline handle for a hierarchy of curved joints (such as a tail or a back ) the joints get shifted a little. To realign the joints to their original position the CVs on the IKspline are selected and moved. This step is done by eye, there are no specific coordinates being utilized, so I think it would be impossible to incorporate that step into a MEL script.
What I want to do is have my MEL script stop running after the IKspline handle is created. This would allow the user to manually adjust the spline CVs. Once the the CVs have been adjusted I want the MEL to finish its procedure. I have no idea how to do this. Any advice would be appreciated.
