View Full Version : Character: Elegance
gL_spear 07-29-2003, 06:08 PM Hi all, I started this a year ago as an elf warrior but changed my mind and decided to return a year later and make her human. Its all finished except for the background..... if anyone has suggestions what would look good, i'd be grateful.

Awsome!:applause:
Maybe try to make a balcony or a gate in the backround:) I don't know. I think you should make some concepts for it.

This does look like a terrific image, its a great model obviously detailed with a lot of work gone into it. The biggest problem with the image at the moment I think is in the stark lighting of the scene, it doesn't do the image justice. Also the pose with the arms held out from the body looks a 'little' odd, but I think lighting will make the biggest improvment.
Obviously lots of love gone into this image, it will be nice to see any updates you post.

to me she has manly hands for some reason. I dunno.
Quite a nice image. I'd do a shot that is a bit further away. The hair should flow more and not look like a blob.
Have fun!

The cape/dress seems funny to me. It appears to be flowing in the wind, but does not look natural, too stiff.
The coloring of the skin is perfect, while not photoreal it really fit the image. All in all a beautiful scene.

Thanks all, i think i'll add more creases to the dress, and i've already started work on a balcony it was mentioned, hopefully i can post something soon. :)

You've got a VERY strong model with nice texture work, but you really need to work on this image some if you want to do justice to the character.
I'd say you need to focus on improving the pose, her facial expression, the cloth's flow, and ESPECIALLY the lighting.
If you put in extra work on those areas, you stand to have an incredible final product!

nice work man ....
ithink the arms are too thin for a worrior...

I think the colour is nice. However, I think the lady looks a bit stiff and uncomfortable with this pose.
