View Full Version : Sketchbook of orijinn
orijinn 07-15-2009, 01:04 AM Hi I just did a drawing today that so that i can start a sketchbook thread. A little about me, i graduated from AIFL with a bachelors in animation. When i enter school i really thought i loved animation but i found out i like 3d modeling especially character design a lot more. My goal with this sketchbook is to help motivate me to do better drawings and models while i continue looking for a job.

Hello there, welcome. :) I'd suggest buckling down to do a lot of traditional sketches - did you take life drawing in college? Attend as many life drawing classes as you can...they're always being offered for a fairly inexpensive cost at local community colleges.

Thanks Rebeccak. I remember i had a lot of life drawing classes (those were fun). When ever i remember i take my sketchbook with me to sketch people quickly. I don't usually like how they come out. I haven't done any drawing from a model in nine months.
These are some thumbnails for a logo i was asked to design.

This is the beginning of a new character i would like to work on for my new demo reel. I'm not happy with what i got so far.
