CGTalk - Blender to ZBrush

Hi...First off I have to let you know that I'm pretty new to Blender, and extremely new to Zbrush.
My question is, I can import a mesh from Blender into Zbrush but I cant seem to figure out how to use the symmetry function for sculpting. So is it a setting that I need to change in blender or is it not possible to use the symmetry function on an imported mesh.

Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated

I've exported meshes made in blender to zbrush and not had any problems using symetry in zbrush. I've just used the standard obj exporter in blender.

This is using zbrush 3.2 on a OSX

I tried it again and got no results...What I'm doing is

1. Applying the mirror modifier in blender
2. Exporting as obj.
3. Importing to Zbrush 3.1
4. Clicking on the L.Symm button

And so far It hasn't worked. But if I create something from scratch in Zbrush the Symm button always works.

Have you activated symmetry (X) in the Transform palette ?
