This was done in ZBrush version 1.55b.
This came out as a result of the Monday Night Challenge at the ZBrushCentral forum. This bi-weekly challenge was head modelling.
I'd just finished reading H.G. Wells, "The Time Machine", so I thought I'd do an interpretation of the character, Weena, from that novel.
The head started out as a cubical skin. I multi-marked together a cube for the head and a smaller cube for the head and then I polymeshed them together and made a cubical skin out of them. I smoothed the cubical skin a couple of times and finished modelling my head from there. The body is a ZSphere object and the clothes were modelled from a copy of the same body ZSphere object.
I used the spherical blend material for the green parts of the clothes with the colorize specular set to a reddish color.
The hair was done with the snakehook brush and then further enhanced via post-work in ZBrush after baking the image. I used the smudge brush and the simple brush with the "color once" option selected in the picker pallette and the highlighter brush to add the highlights to the hair.
C&C Welcome.
