hi all,

i understand that most of Maya users dont know alot about RenderDrive .. but if do .. i need soild comperson with it and MentalRay

......


i have 2 RenderDrives .. and i want to know if i had a problem in using it, because i cannt do nice rendering on it..

emm.. wasnt render drive a hardware for render acceleration?

yes alexx.. its hardware .. with plugin to max and maya .. & special materials ..

this is there site : http://www.art.co.uk/ .. you'll see nice images.. but didnt manage to achive this qaulity .. and since there are not alot of people use it .. i dont think i can find support for users :(

while maya mental ray is more popular, and more features also.

Wow, you got 2 renderdrives? Itīs supposed to be a great piece of hardware (a bit expensive, thou), right?
Which one you have, Renderdrive or the Pure board?
How about posting some of the timings of your renders?
It could be great if you create a scene you can share and post the rendertimes with the Renderdrive.
I would love to render a a scene of mine with it. Would I be able to create a scene on a machine without the Renderdrive? Does the plug-in licence you have allow this (distribution)?
