Question: Lattice

If you go into component mode, and select the verts, cvs that you want then apply a lattice that will work.

There are two seperate components for the lattice, the lattice and the base. If you select both of these in the hypergraph you can scale and move the lattice without affecting your geometry.

In the Lattice options there is an option to group the lattice and base together. I like to use this option because it allows you select the lattice, then simply use the up arrow to select the base also.
