I know everyone thinks Z4 will be release at Siggraph. But due to issues with the hyped
up GoZ I highly doubt it will be release before September. Pixo will just show all the features to get you wet but be prepared to wait awhile.

IS this(GOZ) still the case?

What are the issues with go z? I have been using it and it does what it says it does. It is one of the best 3d tools I ever used.

I would like to know more about Go ZB, just how far you can alter or add gometry without ZB messing up? Im on PC and have seen no info posted by users using it.

I recently bought a new PC but have not installed Z on it as yet. Waiting for Z4. My machine has crashed too many times and I had a problem authenticating my install. Apparently you have so many times you can install Z before you have to apply for a new code. I have just decided to wait. It's not a bad wait.

You can alter it as far as you like. For example this model I am working on:

I started this as zspheres, goz'd into maya and cleaned up the topology there and went back to Z for some detailing then went back to maya and extruded the tail and feet and hands roughly and brought it back to Z. When you do a topo change Z just reprojects the hi res detail onto the new mesh and after some little smoothing off you go.

It works great and is an amazing workflow enhancer.
