View Full Version : I love point modeling
ODoul 07-29-2003, 01:04 AM The bridge tool is your friend. Yea, I know, it's not much, but I'm just starting to get the hang of this. I've read the manual twice, been prowling the forums for a while now too. I guess I'll start showing some of my renders. This is my latest. Mostly a material test although I'm pretty proud of that vase too. I realize it doesn't look like much but it was a pretty big accomplishment for me. Thanks for looking. -- 3d_e

excelent! I love the texture on the vase, very realistic. One thing the crack in the front vase should be an actual crack not just a texture job it would make it look better.
I also like how you made the bases a little different it adds that touch of realism.
Also the shadows have got some triangle thing going on and you may wanna fix that.
All in all great render!!!

Thanks MM! Yea, I was aware of all that stuff, I just didn't care.  It was really more about the materials and the model, as simple as they may be. That crack was post work also, done with PS. Kind of an after thought. Thanks! -- 3d_e

I see you added your image to the Renderosity gallery right after mine! Nice!
