Concept: Phantom Creature

for 4 hours, its a good work.
there is a few thing I would say about it,
1) the vapour on his head, should be more misty and bigger in volume.
2) where is his other legs? if U want, I could blur the edges of your leg so that, its like coming out of the dark.
3) the edge should be a bit more blur.
but overall, I love the texture on the wall and the hand.

I really like it, the only thing I noticed was under both arms the outline didn't seemed blurred enough. Although now that I look closer, also his shoulders and everywhere except his legs and hands.

Also his teeth look too much like 2d. They seem to have no depth at all, they are like glued on paper or something :P

Anyway, those there the only things I noticed, awesome work so far either way :)

jaucifer & Trent - thanks for the comments, working on some of that...

The outline was merely a happy accident, created when I deleted the old bkg to bring him up in my layers. I liked it, so I kept it, but put no effort on it.

In this version, I'm just playing a bit, change my layers around a bit, erased and smudged the drawing to (hopefully) make it appear to be coming through the wall.

the head and left hand is good but as for the rest ,it seems to be invisable rather then coming out of the wall.

The head reminds me of Tim Burton's mister Jack. And the body, some artworks from Capcom's resident evil.

awesome, just make sure you pull that right hand out of the wall a bit, up the opacity on it

Don't think I'm putting anymore work on this one, it turned out far more cartoony than I needed for the production piece! Did like the direction it was going tho...

...perhaps later, I might take it back up again...
