Hi,

This is a strange question (and my first!) about poly modelling.
hopefully you can see an image here (or a link), and its an image of a door type object. The problem is that i have extruded part of the door into itself to create a ledge. In the pic you can see the edge that i would like to change to a round corner instead of the right angle that it is. How do i change it into a round corner in poly modelling only AND only that one particular edge?

cheers in advance

Select the edge.
Chamfer it.
Might have to do some edge turning to keep the mesh clean.

It's been awhile since I've read through it, but I'm pretty sure there are some tips in the Theoretical Sub-D (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=40373) tip.

Stroker.

Thanks for the reply dude!
That is what i did do!! I champered(?) it , then i grabbed the two resulting edges and champered them aswell in order to try and round out the shape. I first tried a boolean operation using all options but to no avail!

OK, thats all i needed to know; what other people do.
regards
