Hello,
Scene Manager is a plugin that allows to increase your workflow while working in your scenes. There are 3 cornerstones Scene Manager consists of.
1. Choosing your Scene: Switching between several opened scenes can be a pain, is time consuming and stops workflow. Scene Manager gives you the ability to switch between your scenes by simply and directly clicking on the scene that is displayed in a list view.
2. Choosing your Camera: Switching between cameras is as easy as switching between scenes with Scene Manager. All can be done with a single mouse click instead of seeking the correct entry in one of the submenus of the submenus in Cinema 4D!
3. SOEMode: The SOEMode allows to edit an object (or a hierarchy of objects) independently in a seperate scene. This is especially useful when working in complex scene. It saves a lot of refreshing time and therefore your editorview runs much smoother when modeling or texturing! So you can edit one or several objects and at last send back the changes to your objects to the complex scene objects. This is a huge time and workflow saver!
Furthermore you have access to all scene specific functions like open, save and recent files list directly in the Scene Manager dialog to offer fast access!
Once you worked with Scene Manager you never wanna work without it again!
Here is a preview in Quicktime format (2.5 MB, 2 Minutes):
