View Full Version : Does anyone know how to export camera data from C4D?

Does anyone know how to export camera data from C4D into other apps such as After Effects or Commotion. I have the updated After Effects version of C4D but it only seems to export passes.

BTW at last a decent C4D forum. This package is so overlooked, it's a disgrace after all the good press it gets..

It does expert camera and light data to after effects 5.5. There is a plug-in on there site for After effects to do this (I don't think for commotion yet, especially since commotion is a two compositor at the moment). I have not given it a go yet, but I will try when i get into work on Monday. Try and look at the exported file in a text editor. Maybe if the data is there you can then adapt it to any program you want, given the scripting time needed.
