It's the regular Geocities image-blocking thingie. Just copy the url to the adress bar, and let it load.

OOHHhhh oooooo its very nice :D
I think just more time is all it needs, more dimension to the hair and leaves and such, its really good! :)

Sorry again. I just know about the problem with the geocities picture loading problem. I linked the picture to another hosting site. Hope it can be viewed now.

Reminds me of Michael Whelan's piece. (http://www.michaelwhelan.com/images/dynamic/peekaboofuzzy.jpg)

Nice work. Only hand seems to doesn't fit to this young character. Looks older then character... I don't know I just feel it like that.
But all other are great.

Really nice! How long have you been painting for?

Ah. This one.. spent 2-3 days to colour get the rough colour. After that i was stuck with the leaves. I left this for a month when I was so busy with my final year and stuck with the leaves.
Got to figure out later and spent another 6 days to finish it.
It's really tiring and confusing to see so many green leaves. Always got confused where to colour.
I wonder when painting in computer, the amount of light reflected on screen is impt? I noticed the illustration has a lot of flaws when I did not switch on my lights.
Thanks for the comments on the hands. I thought about making the hands not too smooth but i guess it looks old now.
Many thanks to Space Penguin for letting me know of the image-blocking thing. If not, I will forever commit this mistake.
Again, thanks for the critics or comments. I am very new with this and I am learning to improve.

He would have to do the whole thing all over again!!!
It's not that he can move the camera and re-render :hmm:

No...What you seen was more like an ex. Like so ...X
I am the Cross.
As for the artwork, not really in my taste, it's really lovely though. Shodows on the stomach are a bit dark for the atmousphere. I really like how you did the strands of hair on the little guy's head. And that light peeking out from the top there..That crack should have a kind of Glow effect.

cool. The hand looks more like an adult's than a child's though.
Then again if they climb trees all day...

I don't agree with the hands too old criticism. This is a kid who spends his life in trees. Just look at a young gorilla/chimp, his hands look old too :)
I really like the pic, well done !
On the light in your room issue. It is true light changes how it looks. Indoor lights make things look orange/reddish and daylight makes things look blue-ish. Daylight looks most natural to our eyes.

Pretty cool. The concept is awesome. Some of the skintones look a little smudgy and dirty... It's hard to tell whats dirt and whats not. The hands are a bit weird, s eveyone has mentioned. Overall, really cool. :buttrock:

Umm...thats crap! I think it needs more - much more work. The colouring is way off...the tree leaves look like plastic.
...cor'blimey, you'd fall for anything! This is an awesome picture - worthy of the next expose compilation - well done.

I think it's beautiful!:applause:
The hand is great - as someone mentioned before, she's spend at least five years living in a forest by the looks of it, so she'd have pretty rough hands. She'd also be quite dirty I'd imagine!!
The hair is great, the colours are fantastic, and the streaks of light coming down through the leaves are inspired.
The only thing I think is missing is a little heavier shadowing to give it a bit more depth and a little green tinting on the flesh tones (for light bounced off leaves).
Other than that, it's fantastic. She kind of reminds me of one of those spikey haired trolls with the hair combed.
nice painting! very fresh and green!!!

I cleaned up the hand a bit and recolour it.
I sucks at hands. Nightmare for me.
The hands should look better now.
I do quite like the leaves I did though I do agree it isn't really realistic and excellant. I will try harder next time. ^_^
I do not dare to take the sketch out cos' it's really really rough and messy.
I will post up the sketch if u all really want to see it.
