Right click on play button, choose custom frame rate and increase to 60 or 120 FPS for example,... this results in more frames, which equals a slow mo effect.

Go to your time settings, and click 'Rescale time'

Use a lower end time (25 instead of 100 for example), and push OK, now all the keys will be moved so the animation is 4 times as fast.

If I'm not mistaken I think he means ramping up the frames, so that it gradually speeds up over time. I don't know how to do it, though. If I am mistaken I would still like to know how to do that.

There is a form, but you will have to do it manually, aplying ease curves(in track view) to all the animated properties of the scene. I post an acceleration of a box. It only has 2 keys and a ease curve instaced in position rotation and scale.
