I'm trying to move my control objects so I can refine the bones in the hands. Is there a way to do this? I know how to do it before I apply the constraints and everything but now I want to move them aside.

I think you have bigger problems then that, the bones in your spine look like they are starting at the top and running down the spine instead of up.

I'm also not sure what you mean when you say "move the controls" Is this a temporary thing that you want to do or permanent. Why do you want to move them? What have the controls got to do with the bones in the hand and refining them?

I started the bones from the head-neck-spine1-spine2-hipbone. The legs and arms are separate. I have the links going like the above also. I moved the controls so I could add fingers. What I meant by moving I mean just so I could see what I was doing. Just so I'm clear, I started from the bottom it just looks like it starts from the top.

Just hide them...and I think you should listen to Paul's advice...the shoulder bones also look like they face the wrong direction...

Thanks that really helped. I don't have a problem following Paul's advice. I don't know if I misunderstand or what but I said I started the bones from the bottom up.
