ah the colors are really great.. did you set up a special lighting and use cc or how did you achieve this great filmlike look?

Hey nice blend of CG and video.

The solid standard arm positions are somewhat odd though. It looks a bit like you haven't finished riggin him.

By the way, you've got a load of video recorders! :p

looks to me like hes not balanced very well in his walk cycle..
try centering his body over the foot thats supposed to be supporting him.. or leaning his body left or right (over the supporting foot) to make the walk more belivable.
is the statue ofthe girl cg? if not where do ya get them..

JoBbE : lightning is GI and after that all was done is combust.

UnlikelyCorny : The arms are special because this statue is fat and hi want to disimulate that he can move

PaxtonGerrish : my walk cycle suck i have to work on it.definitly

the statue of the girl is not CG but maybe i have to model her.

thanks :p

Mmmh, in that case you have some work to do, because it looks like you forgot to animate the arms not that the character is 'disimulating'. He also does not look that fat to me.

But.....besides that I still like the clip..... quite a bit...

that's pretty sweet man, the mix of 3d is amazingly convincing.

you mind giving just a quick explanation of the process of you used to have 3d and live action? im interested in doing that sometime cause I just got me a camera and you look like you've mastered it :)

thats pretty cool. Now the girls has to move too..! make a model of her reacting ot the guy or something.
I think the blend of cg and video is convincing. I like his stiff walk cycle (doesn't look like he'll have much luck with the girl that way though).
The part where he jumps onto the stool foot could use a bit more weight but overall, it's fun. Just too short.

mehdianim : this short is already storyboared but you got a good idea it will be fun to model that girl!!

A funny little short. I agree that the climbing of the stoll could use a little help, it dosn't match very well with the rest of the stiff and slow movements.

The stiff movements are good, it really gives the feel that it is the willpower of the toy overwhleming the stiffness of it's plastic body.
