That's not a party announcement, only that they'll have a presence (booth) at SIGGRAPJ from which they'll webcast.

With the lack of parties this year at least we should start organizng the CGS dinner/meeting.

My exact same thoughts, maybe start a new thread for an unofficial one and start researching places to have it.

Is there any one with local knowledge for an unofficial CGTalk meetup?
The last four or so have been lots of fun. Great to see everyone.

I agree! There was also a CGTalk meetup dinner in Singapore. Unfortunately I had to miss that one. But I won't be missing the New Orleans one. ;)
