Hi everyone,

I was just wondering, if I was to model a character, which would be the correct way to approach the modeling process?

Is it better to model a body mesh first and modeling the clothes and stuff separately, or should I just model the clothes taking on the body shape and modeling the stuff like hands and feets and sticking it on the clothes?

I prefer to model the body first (or sculpt a rough cage) and then add clothing and accessories on top, it just takes away a lot of guess work. That doesnt mean its the right way, but works for me.
